| The Oklahoma Aquarium opened to the public on May 28, 2003. Our mission: to educate & inspire conservation of our aquatic world through interactive discovery. Last year, we hosted 32,667 students from many states. Of those, 50%+ were able to visit at no cost through the Oklahoma Aquarium Foundation’s Fish Friends Scholarship Fund, The Opportunity Project, and OERB.
