This gentle yoga class is thoughtfully curated to honor your unique journey, whether you're managing arthritis, stiffness or living with a type of chronic pain. This invitation is to embrace yoga as not only a gentle path to wellness, but a proven practice in which mindful movement becomes a form of bodily retraining, self-care, and healing.


During our sessions we will explore a variety of a warm-ups, fun and gentle flows, yoga postures to target different areas of the body, re-energizing and centering breathwork, all while ending with a wonderful final guided relaxation.

You will be guided and well supported in these online classes as we blend traditional yoga practices with modern knowledge of pain science. Each session is carefully planned to accommodate a range of physical abilities and limitations, ensuring a safe and nurturing experience for every participant. Modifications and props are also suggested to suit your individual needs and comfort levels.

There are 2 options to join classes. One is online, from the comfort of your home, on Wednesday mornings from 9:15-10 am. The other is in person at a magical yoga studio called The Shed on Nun's Island (free and easy parking and only about 3 minute walk form the REM), on Saturdays from 4-5 pm. Details below.
