ABOUT THE EVENT

Crosspoint's Annual Leadership Symposium brings together professionals, advocates, community members, and thought leaders for a day of learning, dialogue, and shared purpose. Each year, we explore critical issues impacting our organization and the broader community — from behavioral health and recovery to homelessness, reentry, justice-involvement, and family support. These workshop-style events are ticketed and designed to spark meaningful discussion, fresh insight, and actionable ideas that strengthen our collective response to community need. 

"Second Chances, First Steps"

This year’s event will be a half-day professional learning experience featuring a networking breakfast, a guest speaker sharing their lived experience, a research-based presentation, and a keynote luncheon led by Wayne Young of The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, along with representatives from the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute.

Building on the topics introduced at last year’s symposium, this year’s program will explore how San Antonio could benefit from implementing a Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to strengthen cross-system collaboration and create more effective supports for individuals in recovery.
