SACDS Annual Shred-A-Thon & E-Waste Collection

*Members may only choose one location to attend

Thursday, June 5th - 32990 Alvarado Niles Rd. Union City  4:00-6:00 pm



Please note the following policies of the Shred A Thon: NEW FOR 2025

• Files/Documents may only be brought to shredding in Boxes. Files/Documents that are brought in bags will be turned away and not collected for shredding.   Files MUST be in banker boxes or boxes approximately 15" x 12" x 10" - NO large boxes. Boxes larger than 15" x 12" x 10" will be counted as 2 boxes. Boxes must have lids or be completely closed.
• ALL X-Rays and x-ray holders must be removed from all files and placed in separate boxes or bags (If any files are found to contain X-Rays, your entire set of collection boxes will be turned away, and none will be collected for shredding.)
• X-Rays will be collected but MUST be in their own boxes or bags.
•  E-Waste may include the following: Computers, scanners, faxes, phones, printers, TV's, radios, stereos, headsets, speakers etc. Ink cartridges are NOT accepted.
•  Members will be required to unload their own boxes and e-waste from their own vehicles.

*Each member may bring up to 20 boxes of shredding material FREE of charge.  Each additional box after 20 will be charged a $40 per box fee.

*Registration is mandatory as we need to be prepared with enough trucks for collection & shredding. Registration deadline: May 23rd at 10:00AM

*THE LATEST TO DROP OFF ANY BOXES FOR PLEASANTON AND UNION CITY LOCATIONS WILL BE NO LATER THAN 6:00PM.
