MBA in Shipping

By taking a strategic perspective on the shipping industry, the MBA in Shipping Program prepares aspiring and seasoned shipping professionals for a future full of challenges in the shipping industry. The program, designed in collaboration with the Greek shipping community (the Business Advisory Committee for the Shipping programs of Alba), provides significant networking opportunities along with a challenging and unique educational experience delivered by world-renowned academics and distinguished industry practitioners in the field. Apart from specialized shipping courses and workshops, the MBA in Shipping program invests heavily in leadership and strategic management competencies, which are particularly relevant both as personal advantages and as essential resources for companies in this sector.

Athens University of Economics and Business

MSc in International Shipping, Finance and Management (ISFM)

Ranked 5th in the World by Eduniversal 2018 and 2019 Masters' Rankings, the Interdepartmental MSc in International Shipping, Finance and Management (ISFM) comprises a unique combination of the three knowledge areas, which are essential for those employed or are interested to find work in the International Shipping industry. This is achieved through a modern, well-structured program, which combines reading of the international literature, laboratory classes, case studies, workshops, teaching, visits to companies and an academic dissertation aimed at enhancing research skills. The academic members of staff involved in the program are producing highly pioneering research in their respective fields of study. Business executives are also invited as keynote speakers in the program. All the above are disseminated in the curricula of the course units to make up a distinct educational program.

MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Greece is a gateway to Europe. Despite the crisis, infrastructure is developing. Ports, airports and railways are being modernised, major road networks are being completed and, in conjunction with the construction of the freight centre in Thriassio Pedio freight complex, they are expected to strongly boost growth by attracting key international players active in the field of freight flows. The sector’s 11% contribution to the country’s GDP and the 54,000 job positions are about to increase. The MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme is aimed at executives who are already working in the industry and wish to develop professionally, or to executives from other fields who wish to make a fresh start towards a career in a highly promising industry.

One Scholarship for 100% of tuition fees except the registration fees at the University of West London, £1.200.
