Empowering Black Owned Businesses

~ Celebrating Black History Month ~

Our Black History Month event is February 13th, from 11AM to 2PM and we want to introduce you to our speakers for the event. This week we would like to introduce you to one of our Small Business Black Own Panelist - Queenie Donaldson, here is part of her story.

Tiffany Patterson

Tiffany Patterson is a former data engineer and product owner, who enjoys solving problems. Owning a business allows her to solve problems on my terms and without the corporate challenges that make innovating a slow, painful process.

Tiffany started Cowrie.  No brick-and-mortar location; it's a digital startup based in Los Angeles and NYC.

She is an entrepreneur.  What I will say is this: building a company is like being in a relationship. You either learn to stick it out and leverage the right tools to make the relationship worthwhile, or you know when to leave and accept the experience as one you'll grow from.

WBC offered her support with financial planning. While she is far from revenue management, thinking about how to scale financials as the business grows has been critical.

WBC's virtual events offer her a convenient networking opportunity. These individuals would either be future users or partners or great resources to learn from.

Workshops have been the most critical resource for her.
