| KDIGO sat down with KDIGO Glomerular Diseases Guideline Co-Chair, Brad Rovin, MD (United States) at ASN Kidney Week 2023 to get his insights on the changing landscape in the management and treatment of glomerular diseases. "There is a lot of excitement about glomerular disease right now," said Dr. Rovin. "In the last several years we have had major advancements in the treatment of several glomerular diseases, with a great deal of new info on IgAN. We now have a very nicely defined pathway for clinical trial approach and drug approval through the FDA, which has really stimulated a lot of activity in the field to bring new drugs forward."
