This show is open to all Orange County Fine Arts (OCFA) members who have juried into the gallery.

THEME

Center Stage

Art is all about ideas and a way of seeing. It's where your vision takes center stage as the star of the show. Join us in April as we celebrate a spectrum of perspectives on the world we all live in. It's a dynamic, beautiful, subtle, messy, colorful, mysterious, bracing, enthralling, bewildering place. 

ARTWORK MEDIA & SPECIFICS

All media is welcome. Painting, sculpture, ceramics, wood, glass, fabric, metals, photography, jewelry, mixed media, etc.

2-D ARTWORK: SIZE AND WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Maximum Weight:

• 20 Ibs.

Maximum Size:

• 60"(H) x 48"(W).

3-D ARTWORK: SIZE AND WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Maximum Weight:  

• 20 Ibs. on-wall
• 50 lbs. off-wall

ARTWORK LABELING for 2-D and 3-D art

• Each piece of artwork must have two identical labels: One in FRONT, and one in BACK.
• The two labels are used for identification and orientation when mounting the show in the gallery. Labels will be removed for the exhibition.

ONLINE SUBMISSION PROCESS

The online registration form will include submission details, electronic payment, and an upload function for your images.

ACCEPTANCE INTO EXHIBIT

All artwork accepted into the exhibit is subject to approval by the Gallery Directors. All displayed artwork must be listed for sale.

Artists will need to submit the following:

• Your Name
• Contact Info (Email & Phone)
• Title of artwork
• Medium
• Frame size choice
• Image (1200px on the long side)
• Provide a brief description/statement about the piece

Fees:

• $20 Per-Piece Show Fee
• $15 One-Time Reception Fee
• $25 Sitting fee (Optional) OCFA Showcase is an all-volunteer Member Co-op Gallery. Exhibiting artists have the option to volunteer to work a 4 hour shift in the gallery during the exhibition, or pay a $25 fee.
• Payment must be made at the time of entry using the online entry form.
• All artwork entered will be displayed in the Online Gallery at http://showcasegalleryoc.com/

REPRODUCTION OF ARTWORK IMAGES

Any artwork entered in this show designates the artist's consent that OCFA may use the entered artwork for promotional purposes.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By entering the exhibit through OCFA, the Artist acknowledges that OCFA will take all

reasonable care to safeguard their images and Artist accepts that OCFA, its agents,

associates, directors, officers, volunteers will not be responsible for any damage, injury,

liability, loss, or theft, should any occur. Insurance for digital representations of art

entered in this show is each individual Artist’s responsibility. By entering, Artist agrees

to all terms described in this contract.

SALES, SALES TAX, COMMISSIONS, SHIPPING

Artists Will Retain 75% of the sale price of any artwork sold during this show. Showcase Gallery will collect a 25% commission on all art sales during the show. All sales will be handled directly between the buyer and Showcase Gallery. Sales tax will be collected on each art sale by Showcase Gallery.

Showcase Gallery will issue payment to the Artist for any sales. All shipping arrangements will be between the buyer and the Artist.
