National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) and Lincoln Electric Education Partner Schools (LEEPS) Four Process Welding Train-the-Trainer

What is the LEEPS Program?

LEEPS is a national program developed by The Lincoln Electric Company. The National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) is the certification body of LEEPS. The LEEPS program provides schools with a complete suite of portable, stackable industry-recognized welding certifications. The program involves a Train-the-Trainer initiative.

What is Train-the-Trainer?

This training is not about learning how to weld. This training prepares you (the "Trainer") to train others. Upon completion of this training, you will be a certified NC3 instructor who provides standardized, world-class welding training at your organization. You will experience the curriculum, assessments, and exams first-hand before implementing this program in your own classroom.

  • Welding Safety
  • Principles of Welding
  • Introduction Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
  • Introduction Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
  • Introduction Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
  • Introduction Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)


LEEPS Members:

  • Advanced Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
  • Advanced Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
  • Advanced Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
  • Advanced Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)


*Membership not required to attend. Membership required to implement curriculum/issue certifications.

Arrival/Departure: Please arrive on Sunday, January 10, 2027. Training will conclude at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2027. Attendees must be present for the entire duration of the training.

Car Rental: Please rent a car. There may be opportunities to carpool with other attendees, but please plan your own transportation.

Additional Information

Equipment: Please bring your own laptop/Chromebook and PPE (see registration form).


Meals: Lunch will be provided to participants each day of their training.


Cost: Member: $1,195, Non-Member: $1,295. Invoices will be sent 3-5 business days after registering.
