The Colestin Valley's beautiful fall weather has arrived, as has the seasonal uptick of Covid infection. As an attendee at our Vajrakilaya Retreat, we want to advise you of the precautions, requirements, and recommendations that will be implemented to reduce the spread of Covid (as well as flu, RSV, and other viruses).
Our concern is for the health of every single attendee and particularly for the health of our many older sangha members. Please help us by using your best practices, included below:
1) If you have any of the following symptoms, please do not come to Tashi Choling:
fever or chills
cough
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
fatigue
muscle or body ache
headache
new loss of taste or smell
sore throat
2) If possible, we encourage everyone to get the updated Covid booster.
3) If you know you've been exposed but are testing negative, be aware that a negative test within 5 days of exposure may not be accurate.
4) Masks (K95 or KN95) are not required at this time but are recommended for those who are at higher risk. Masks may be required if conditions change.
5) Everyone should employ proper and frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer (which will be provided on premises).
6) The risk of Covid exposure in any public setting is well established. By attending this event, attendees are agreeing to Tashi Choling's Covid Liability Waiver. (Please download and read the waiver.)
Thank you for your kind cooperation, and we look forward to a healthy and auspicious retreat!
