| The fall season is officially here for Paradise Coast Sports Complex, and September was filled with exciting sports. This month included big events hosted by FC Naples, the first professional soccer team in Southwest Florida.
Live @ The Cove has returned, and live bands are back performing at The Cove every Saturday for the public to enjoy, with drinks and food available at The Cove wine bar and Fuel food truck. Make sure to check out the full schedule on our website calendar.
FC Naples had a busy week and continued to prepare for the highly anticipated debut in March 2025 by hosting a “Select A Seat” event for season ticket holders. FC Naples also hosted its very own “Fan Fest” to show appreciation for the supportive fanbase that has been following the foundation of FC Naples. Fan Fest was a free event that included live music, face painting, penalty and free kick contests, and a meet-and-greet with new head coach Matt “Gaffa” Poland. FC Naples held their first open tryouts featuring some of the most talented soccer players in the area, and had players compete for a potential spot on the roster.
Kick-Off Soccer hosted a two-day youth soccer tournament that featured over 80 teams and used 8 turf fields to support their tournament play. Most teams came from the local or Florida area, and a few out-of-state teams competed in the tournament.
Great Wolf Lodge's “soft” opening was held on September 25th, and excitement at Paradise Coast Sports Complex buzzed throughout the weekend.
Mark your calendars! On October 19th, Starability will host a 5k in Paradise for charity. FC Naples will continue the second day of tryouts from October 19th to 20th to help finalize some roster decisions.
