Investing Beyond Traditional Asset Classes

Harry Markowitz famously said that diversification is the only free lunch in investing. Investment management has historically focused on building diversified portfolios of “traditional” asset classes (i.e., fixed income and equities). In the past decade, sophisticated investors have also steadily increased their allocation to private assets, which provides them with numerous portfolio benefits. Through product innovation and enhanced accessibility, investors of all sizes now have ways to invest beyond traditional asset classes. Canada Life and Northleaf have partnered to enable plans of all sizes to access alternative asset classes.

Are you ready to invest beyond the traditional asset classes?

Please join CFA Society Winnipeg as we host, Nadim Vasanji, Managing Director, Northleaf Capital Partners and Canada Life to learn more about:
- Alternative asset landscape
- Benefits of private credit, private equity and infrastructure exposure
- Understanding the caveats of investing in private markets
